    1. Yes, this is still under work. MySQL Workbench has new prerequisites, which require an update of the installer.

  1. Q1. Where is the 32bit 6.3.9?
Q2. Does the 64bit Workbench work well with the 32 bit MySQL server?

    1. Prebuilt binaries of MySQL Workbench only come as 64bit builds, on all supported platforms. Since it is open source you can of course create your own build and make that 32bit. The architecture of the server and the clients don’t need to concur. The communication happens over network hence neither the OS nor the type of client (GUI or terminal) nor its architecture play any role here.

  2. 64 bit workbench does not recognize 32 bit odbc driver. 64 bit odbc driver does not support my 32 bit MS Access.

32 bit of 6.3.8 works fine, except that it breaks on importing data with ‘

    So got stuck. Any suggestion?

  3. So is there no way to get 6.3.9 onto a Windows 32-bit OS without having to compile source? v6.3.8 installs but you cannot update via the installer, nor via help->check updates function of workbench (they just direct to the download page for the same community installer that won’t install it?

What is the method for getting the latest release on Win 32?

    Thank you.

    1. Most people use a 64bit Windows version now. There won’t be any 32bit version of MySQL Workbench anymore. You could try building a version yourself, but that’s quite tricky because of the third party dependencies.

  4. there is UI bug in macOS, when use model synchronize model with database(toolbar->database->synchronize model) . I try it on windows, it prefect.

  5. I’m so excited to try it out. Been working with 6 version for a long time, and Workbench probably is the best open source software to manage databases.
