  1. I keep getting an Runtime Error with this release: “R6025 – pure virtual function call”.

I didn’t have this problem with 5.2.25. I would recommend waiting until 5.2.27 before upgrading.

  2. I have started suing Workbench and I really like the inclusion of the modeling, however I really missed the migration features.
When will migration features similar to the Migration Toolkit be incorporated into Workbench? I am anxiously awaiting this inclusion.

    Thank you

    Thanks for the great work.

  4. I restore a dump whith the 5.2.26 GA and it’s not possible :
    – to unselect a schema (or more) from the dump
    – to unselect a table (or more) from the dump
    – to choose the destination
like in the good old “MySQL Administrator”…..

It’s also not possible to see what happens (I need to go to the “Connections windows” to see what’s happend) : the bar stay blank, I only get “statistics : (empty line), and a second line with “starting” as the comment….

but the job seems to begin to be good….

  5. Cannot include views when using Data Dump, I get the following error:

Unhandled exception: global name ‘views_by_schema’ is not defined.

This worked fine in v5.2.25 and I really need the feature, so will be going back to the previous release until this gets fixed.

  6. Data Dumps which include views fail in v5.2.26, throwing an error.

This functionality was working fine in v5.2.25 and I use it a lot, so have re-installed v5.2.25.

I did post up a comment here yesterday with the actual error, but it seems to have disappeared and I’m now running the previous version.

  7. I love workbench and I have something to say about every release. Not sure if you guys hear or agree with the ideas I post but heres another! The releases from the WB are quick and I’m the kind of person who has to have the most up to date application. It would be great to have an update facility within Workbench. I see that theres already an item for Update… but it doesn’t seem to do anything for me. I’m sure you guys already plan on doing it and it would be great to just click that, let it automatically download and update the app with little user interaction 🙂

I’m not sure if the MySQLDump worked in earlier versions on specific tables but used it recently and love it.

  8. I’ve just installed v5.2.26 and noticed quite a few crashes and bugs. When editing a table in particular it doesn’t always show all of the existing columns. Should I be waiting until 5.2.27?

  9. After desactivating some fonts, MysqlWorkbench refuses to open on OS X 10.6, the error says : *** -[NSTextView setFont:]: nil NSFont given.
What font i need to activate?
