Senior Software Developer – MySQL Workbench

Linux C++ developer with experience developing GUI applications
using the GTK+ toolkit. 

Responsibilities
----------------
- Maintenance of Linux port of MySQL Workbench
- C/C++ Linux GUI development
- Profiling, tuning and testing of MySQL Workbench

Qualifications
------------
- Typically requires a BS/MS in computer science from University.
- Minimum 6+ years as a C/C++ Software Developer
- high proficiency with C++ development
- GTK+/gtkmm programming experience
- GNU compiler toolchain
- Proficient in using Linux development and debugging tools (gdb,
valgrind, strace, automake etc)
- Competent in using bash, sed and other shell tools to automate
various system tasks
- Good knowledge of databases, especially MySQL
- Ability to understand large pieces of code fast
- Have proven skills in profiling and optimizing of complex code bases
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Fluent written and spoken English

Desired Qualifications

- Python development experience
- Experience with Linux system administration
- Linux software packaging (RPM and DEBs)
